Hi everyone,
I hope you have all had a great month this March! For once, I am early with my favourites post & have managed to get it up just before the start of April. I don’t have so much to share this month as I already uploaded a post of all the new things I’d purchased. Of course, I have been playing around with all of those things and loving them, but I didn’t want to include too much that I already spoke about in that post here. So if you’re interested in finding out my favourite things at the moment – keep reading!
Bare Minerals Flawless Radiance Highlighting Powder (£21)
I’ve had this loose highlighting powder in my collection for a while now after getting it as part of a set, yet I never reached for it. I always go for pressed powder highlights, or occasionally liquid. But I decided I’d try it out. I’m really glad I did as it is stunning. It’s a bit more subtle than I’m used too, but it gives me a perfect glow from within as it melts into the skin. It has some glitters throughout it, but it definitely doesn’t look glittery when applied to the face. The shade is a champagne glow, and it ideal for pale skin tones. I love how naturally healthy this makes me look – and it doesn’t emphasize texture at all.
Kat Von D Lock It Foundation (£28)
I’ve recently gone back to wearing this foundation and I forgot how amazing it is. It’s definitely in my top 3 foundations. It looks super smooth on the skin, which is what I have needed at the moment as my skin texture is worse than normal. It lasts really well without clinging to dry patches, or going oily throughout the day. It gives me a flawless full coverage base – what more could I ask for?
Magazines
A little bit of a random one, but I’ve been into reading Magazines more this month. I picked up Elle as Taylor Swift featured on the cover, and I’m just a bit obsessed. In the past I’ve bought magazines and not actually read any of the articles, instead I’ve just flicked through looking at the pictures. But I massively enjoyed Elle! So I decided to go and get a few more. I should probably get back to the books some time soon, but for now I’m enjoying these.
Colourpop Scorpio Moon Lux Lipstick ($7)
So I know I said I didn’t want to speak about things I included in my ‘recent purchases’ post, but this lipstick is an exception! This is my absolute perfect shade. I love wearing purple lipsticks to add a pop of colour to a look. The formula is so comfortable and long lasting. I wish Colourpop was easier to get hold of in the UK – but if you’re planning on putting in an order I’d strongly recommend this one.
Tabaibaloe Aloe Face & Body Cream (£11)
My boyfriends mum recently went away to Fuerteventura and brought me back this cream, and oh my gosh I love it. I only use it on my face. It feels so soothing on the skin and has really started to help with my dry skin. Even though it’s super moisturising, its texture is still quite thin and light on the skin. I found out that you can buy this on Amazon for £11! Aloe Vera is so good for the skin, and this is now a staple in my skin care routine.
That’s all for this month. Please feel free to leave the things you’ve been loving in March in the comments below – I’d love some new recommendations.
Jazmin xx
The shade of that highlighter is so perfect for daily wear. I actually can’t remember the last time I bought magazine, I really should buy one to remember the old times when I used to do that every month. xx
