My Morning Routine | #Gifted

Hi everyone,

How have you all been? It’s been a long this week but it’s almost over & I’m looking forward to a fresh week! Today I wanted to share with you my current morning routine which has been getting me through the busy days lately. This post does include gifted items but all opinions are my own.

If I can, I like to get up in plenty time so that my morning doesn’t feel super rushed. The first thing I do when I wake up is have a cup of tea, otherwise I definitely won’t function. I know most people go for coffee, but I don’t really like it. I’ll also usually grab some breakfast too.

After that, I’ll have a Berocca (purchase here) to give me some extra energy for the day! I like the mango flavour but the orange one is really good too. I usually take my vitamins with this drink. I have a Multi-Vitamin (purchase here), and I sometimes take a Vitamin C (purchase here) tablet too! I find that I always feel generally better when I’ve been taking vitamins so it’s become an important part of my morning routine.

Next I’ll do my skin care routine & freshen up. I tend to have showers in the evening because drying my hair in the mornings is a lot of effort. Lately I’ve been using the No. 7 Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser, (purchase here) followed by my day time moisturiser – the L’oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water, (purchase here)and then the Revolution Superfruit Extract Serum (purchase here).

Once I’m feeling all fresh, I’ll brush my teeth & use The Breath Co Fresh Breath Oral Rinse (purchase here).I really like this one as it’s a mild mint so it’s not too overpowering. It can’t just be me who finds super strong mint borderline painful? This mouthwash also tackles dry mouth too which is helpful for me! It’s usually after this that I get dressed, do my makeup & do my hair.

Before I leave the house I’ve been having one of the Grether’s Pastilles (purchase here). I’m still kind of fighting a winter cold and my throat is a little rough. I absolutely love these as they genuinely feel so smooth on my throat. They also taste lovely & juicy too so you can’t go wrong.

After that, I’m out the door!

It’s only fairly recently that I’ve started to really appreciate the time I have in the morning. Not too long ago I’d get up at the last minute, quickly get ready and then run out the door. I really feel like having this routine on a daily basis leaves me feeling so much more energised and happy.

    Love reading about peoples routines, and how they can be so different! I love to have a cup of tea in the morning too!

    I have to try that L’Oréal Hydra Genuis! I haven’t seen it before. Looks perfect for adding more hydration to my skincare routine

    I really want to try L’oreal Hydra Geniuos but it’s still not available here unfortunately. I really like how simple your morning routine is, I’m the same like that, I just basically get ready in morning and go with my day. If I need to do some things in house I’ll do it at night. xx

      It’s such a shame you can’t get it in your country! Yes – I don’t ever do housework in the mornings. I save all that for the evening!! X

    I love reading about people’s morning routines! I much prefer morning to evening. I can’t function without eating so breakfast is usually first on my agenda and I can’t drink coffee so tea it is for me too! Then skincare routine and teeth (I used to use The Breath Co. and liked them!) then I’ll usually get some stuff done on my phone then my Yoga workout. I work from home so I have the luxury to mix this up sometimes but I really love having a solid routine <3

    I really enjoyed this. I found it more relatable than some morning routines I’ve seen. My energy levels are so low in the morning, but after a nice cup of tea I feel more prepared for the day. Thank you for sharing.

    I love hearing about other people’s routines. Mostly because I’m nosy lol, but it also gives me some ideas for my own. I’ve tried those pastels and find they’re great for sore throats. My morning routine starts with a great evening routine, I always find mornings easier when I’ve slept well.
