Hi everyone,
It’s time for another empties post! Honestly these are some of my favourite posts to write (and read) because I have a fully formed opinion of something after using it completely up. As with my last empties, I’ve decided not to include things I’ve spoken about a million times; like my much loved Johnsons Makeup Be Gone wipes & Garnier toner. So let’s go though my trash..
The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter
I received this as a gift as part of a set & this is the first thing I’ve entirely used up from it. I love this scent from TBS, it’s a fresh delicate floral scent. I’m into roses, so it’s ideal for me. As always with TBS, the butter was super good – very moisturing & fast absorbing considering how hydrating (and pretty thick) this is. It leaves my skin looking healthy and gives me a glow too. I have another one of these in my collection from a Christmas advent calendar.
Repurchase: Already have another one.
M&S Floral Collection Honeysuckle Shower Cream & Body Lotion
I’ve had these mini’s for a while just waiting to be used & I finally got around to doing so. I love Honeysuckle a lot & the scent of this was so lovely – light and floral. I liked how thin the body lotion was. It’s actually probably more ideal for summer as it’s not super moisturising, but it’s enough for when you need to get ready quickly after a shower & can’t sit around waiting for a lotion to absorb. The shower cream was great too & left my skin softer than an average shower gel.
Repurchase? It doesn’t look like these products are on the M&S website at the moment.
Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling Shower Gel
This came with the Lacoste Pour Elle perfume. I love the scent & it’s one of my go to perfumes. It’s nice to layer this with the perfume. I’d use this before going out to intensify the scent when applying the perfume. I did find that the scent of the shower gel lingered on the skin – but not for too long. It didn’t lather up all that well either.
Repurchase? If it came in a set with the perfume again then maybe.
Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Shampoo & Conditioner
This has been sat in empties pile for a while now. This combo was okay but nothing special so I probably wouldn’t get this again unless it was the only one on offer. If I’m going for Herbal Essences I much prefer the Daily Detox combo. However, I’ve been really loving my Aussie products at the minute.
Repurchase? Probably not.
Palmolive So Vibrant Shower Gel
My Mum picked me this up & it was a really good shower gel. It lathered well & left me feeling clean & fresh. It’s super affordable for a decent amount of product and you can buy this in so many places. It’s one of those ones I’d get if I realised whilst out that I needed to stock up on shower gel.
Repurchase? Yes.
Zoella Let’s Spritz Body Mist
I really love this scent, it’s by far my favourite one from Zoella Beauty. I wore this a lot in my first year of university so wearing it again recently was so nostalgic. It gives me so much scent memory!! For that reason alone I’ll always love it. It’s quite a light scent & it doesn’t last super long on the skin (equally it’s not awful), but it’s only £8 for a bottle which isn’t that bad.
Repurchase? Yes.
L’oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water Moisturiser
I’ve been using this for a while now & it’s perfect for when my skin isn’t playing up badly with dryness. It soaks in quickly whilst still being pretty moisturising due to the hyaluronic acid. I’ve been using this in the mornings & sticking with something a bit thicker for the evenings.
Repurchase? Already have.
Pai Camellia & Rose Hydrating Cleanser Mini
I got this in a Christmas advent calendar & tested it out in January (ish). It’s a nice cleanser and I can imagine if you have sensitive skin you’d like this. Personally I prefer a cleansing gel, so I won’t be purchasing the full size unless my skin suddenly becomes ultra sensitive like it used to be.
Repurchase? No.
Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser Mini
I fairly recently did a Sample Wednesday review of this one so I won’t go into too much detail. But I didn’t love this. It does leave the skin feeling clean, but for me it’s a bit TOO clean & gives me that dry squeaky sensation that soap does. My skin leans on the dry side so I’m not a fan of that, but if you have oily skin you may love this one.
Repurchase? No.
Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating & Revitalising Tissue Mask
I’ve spoken about these Garnier Moisture Bomb sheet masks a fair few times on my blog, so it’s no secret that I love them. You really cannot beat them for the price. I love sheet masks. They’re so refreshing & I really should remember to pick them up more often.
Repurchase? Yes.
Superdrug Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask
My sister got me a bunch of these Superdrug masks back in January for my birthday & I’ve enjoyed trying a couple out! I got a number of uses out of each sachet. This one really did make a difference with redness. I don’t have lots of redness, so I can’t say how it would work if redness is a key issue for you, but it’s worth a try since they’re very affordable.
Repurchase? Maybe.
Superdrug Strawberries & Vanilla Cream Exfoliating Mask
I really love this mask! Every time I used it my skin was left feeling so soft. I was honestly kind of amazed at how well this performed. I’m SO gutted because I can’t seem to find this on the Superdrug website or in any stores. Maybe it’s been discontinued? I hope they bring it back if so because I’d purchase a lot of them.
Repurchase? I wish.
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer x2
This is such a good concealer from the drugstore. It has a lot of coverage, blends easily & there’s a massive shade range. All for £4.. you can’t complain! It does sink into fine lines a little more than some other concealers, but I can deal with it. I seem to go through this concealer very quickly; maybe due to the big doe foot applicator. I love it though & I’ll continue to use it.
Repurchase? Already have.
Eyeronic Lashes (Ariel & Merida)
If you read my makeup looks here on my blog, you’ll know that I often go for Eyeronic lashes! They’re beautiful and so delicate. You get lots of wears out of each pair as long as you look after them well. I love the Princess Collection from the brand as they seem to cater to those of us who don’t want a big heavy lash & like to go for something a bit more natural. Ariel are particularly natural & are shorter than other lashes too. I’m so sad that the Princess Collection is being discontinued. Their other lashes are pretty too, but not as natural as I’d like unfortunately.
Repurchase? I can’t.
Maybelline SuperStay 24h Foundation
I’ve finally used up an entire bottle of foundation.. usually I keep them with a tiny bit in the bottom for the longest time because I don’t like using it all up. Bad habit! I really liked this foundation & wore it on a daily basis for a long time. It’s got good coverage & it’s affordable. It does go a bit darker after it’s been on a while, so I bought the shade lighter than I needed. When I first apply, it looks super matte & drying on my skin. After around an hour or two my natural oils peak through, which for me is good & it look’s much nicer! This is why I can’t decide if I will buy this again. I don’t like it very much when it’s first been applied.
Repurchase? Still unsure.
L’oreal Miss Baby Roll Waterproof Mega Volume Mascara
I haven’t used this mascara up, but it’s going in the bin. I didn’t like it at all. When it first released there was a lot of hype surrounding it, so I joined the bandwagon and bought it. Used it for a couple weeks & then it’s been sat in my makeup organiser untouched since. The wand is very scratchy and sort of hurts my eyes to use. It doesn’t do much for my lashes at all. It’s not clumpy as such but it makes the lashes stick together & look super spidery. It doesn’t give much length or volume in my opinion. Perhaps the worst thing about this is that it’s just SO DAMN HARD to remove. I ended up pulling my lashes out accidentally every time. I know this could be down to the waterproof element, but I’m going to skip the other version too.
Repurchase? No.
That’s all for this empties post! Have you tried any of these? Feel free to leave any thoughts/comments below as I’d absolutely love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading!

It’s such a good option!
I love Empties posts so much. I feel like it’s the best way to share mini reviews about many products at once. I wanna try Maybelline Super Stay foundation, but I’m afraid that it will be heavy on my skin as I like super light weight foundations. xx

It is quite a heavy foundation so you may not like it much! X
Palmolive used to be my favorite shampoo growing up! I’ve been using Head & Shoulders lately!

Ah I’ve not used head&shoulders in ages but I used to love them x
I love rose and honeysuckle fragrances so I’m very tempted by TBS and M&S body creams. And I love Garnier Moisture Bomb masks too, they’re so hydrating and refreshing, even if you do look a bit odd when you’re wearing them. My daughter thinks it’s hilarious! Sorry to hear about the Superdrug Strawberries & Vanilla Cream Exfoliating Mask not being available any more – let’s hope they do bring it back then! Lisa x

Florals are some of my faves & those scents are amazing. The Garnier masks do look funny but I agree they’re worth it haha. I hope they bring the Superdrug mask back. Thanks so much for reading xxx
