Hi everyone,
How are you all this weekend? I had my last day at my old work yesterday & now I’ve got the weekend to prepare myself for my new job on Monday. I’m super exited!
Today on my blog I’m going to be reviewing a few bits from skinChemists Caviar Collection. Last month the brand reached out to me and said they’d be interested in sending me over a few bits from their Caviar Collection. After taking a look on their website, I was immediately interested. As I’ve mentioned in a few posts lately, I’ve been really focusing on skin care at the moment. I love the fact that these products are anti-ageing – I KNOW I’m only 22, but I truly think that the sooner you start preventative measures to skin ageing, the more effective they will be.
So of course, I happily took skinChemists up on their offer, and received the Anti-Ageing Caviar Day Moisturiser, the Anti-Ageing Caviar Facial Serum, and the Anti-Ageing Caviar Eye Serum, and I’ve been trying them out since!
OVERVIEW
The Anti-Ageing Caviar Day Moisturiser (£39) is a light moisturiser that ‘aims to mattify, smooth and brighten.’ Infused with Caviar to ‘nourish your skin and work to balance uneven skin tone.’
The Anti-Ageing Caviar Facial Serum (£49.99) ‘aims to hydrate, balance and improve skins overall complexion.’ As well as Caviar (which contains a lot of vitamin & minerals), this serum contains Aloe Vera to soothe and moisturise, and Seaweed extract to deeply hydrate, and as anti-oxidising properties. skinChemists claim that this serum will ‘plump up the skin to smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles’, and brighten the skin leaving it looking healthier and more radiant.
Similar to the moisturiser, the Anti-Ageing Caviar Eye Serum (£39) ‘aims to mattify, smooth and brighten the skin around the eye’. It ‘firms, lifts and brightens the eye contour’, leaving skin looking more radiant.
The packaging of all three products is stunning. Each item came in a black & white box. I particularly love the look of the facial serum. the mirrored effect bottle is so pretty & definitely something you can have on your bathroom display. the products I got aren’t super affordable, but there are certainly more expensive options on the market too. I would be willing to pay those prices if the products preform well.
REVIEW
I have been using all of these products for around 3 weeks now, which I believe is a enough time to share my opinion. Each morning I apply the facial serum, then the moisturiser, followed by the eye serum. The first thing I noticed was the amazing scent – it’s most prominent in the facial serum, but it smells exactly like Robinsons Fruit & Barley cordial juice. I love that stuff! Each of the products smooth over the skin well.
The moisturiser is a little thicker than I expected, with it being aimed at day time use. However it is is not super thick and it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. Having drier skin I really liked that, and true to the claims it does give a more matte appearance as opposed to a greasy look. The serum is super moisturising and I only need a small amount for my entire face. The eye serum is perhaps my favourite product I was sent – it has moisturised my eye contour well, getting rid of that dry cracked look, and I think it has started to help with the appearance of fine lines. I’ve been looking for a great eye cream, and I’ve definitely found one that I really like.
I will be continuing to use all three products, & I’ll definitely purchase the eye serum and facial serum again as they are my absolute favourite in my collection & I’d recommend both. As much as I enjoy the moisturiser, I do have cheaper ones in my collection that do a similar thing. However, if I am wanting to treat myself to something a bit more expensive, then I’d pick this up again. I can also 100% see myself purchasing more things from skinChemists, so check them out!
Thanks so much to skinChemists & thanks so much to YOU for reading! Please leave any comments below. I would love to know your opinions.

Oooo I love anything anti-ageing! I might only be 21 but I definitely want to prevent any wrinkles as soon as I can haha, plus anti-ageing products always seem so much more luxurious to me, as they’re usually a bit thicker! I definitely need to try out this eye serum – I’ve been on the lookout for good eye cream/serum for a while as my under eye bags are pretty horrendous to say the least… :’) Loved this post! Keep doing what you’re doing girl; you’re doing fab. x
