Hi everyone,
How was your weekend? I had such a nice day yesterday shopping & lunching at Pizza Express. I treated myself to a new Carvela handbag because the offer was too good to resist. I can’t wait to use it on holiday when I go at the end of the month.
Today I’m going to share a makeup look with you all that I’ve been obsessed with. I used the Colourpop x Zoella Brunch Date palette for it, which I really love as I feel like it’s such an underrated palette?! If you want to know how I achieved this look & all the products I used for it, just keep reading.
Step One – Base
I first applied the e.l.f Hydrating Primer (£7.50) all over my face to give my skin that extra moisture and glow. For foundation I went in with the L’oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear (£10.99) on a Superdrug B. Blender sponge. I sprayed the makeup sponge with a little Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist (£3.49) as it really helps with a smooth application.
Step Two – Eyes
I filled in my eyebrows using the Benefit Brow Zings palette (£27). I absolutely love this brow kit & you can read my review HERE if you’re interested. I applied Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) all over my eyelids to create a base for eyeshadow. I then dipped into my Colourpop x Zoella Brunch Date palette ($18). On a Morphe s27 brush I applied the brown shade ‘Maple Syrup’ all over my lids. Once I had blended all the edges and created a seamless base, I applied the light shimmer shade ‘Champagne Toast’ all over the inner portion of my eyelid using my finger. Next, both with the Morphe s27 brush & with my finger I took the pink shade ‘Sundae Funday’ on the outer portion of my eyelid & a little buffed into the crease of my lids too. It was a little difficult to use this pink shade as unfortunately mine came smashed, but it’s so gorgeous that I just had to use it! Next I intensified ‘Champagne Toast’ and buffed a little more of ‘Maple Syrup’ into the crease of my eyelids to neaten up the look. Once I was happy with all of this, I used the Wet n Wild Proline Eyeliner (£4) to draw a small wing. I went in with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99) and then added False Lashes from Eyeronic Lashes in the style Jasmine.
Step Three – Finishing
I applied a small amount of Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) under my eyes. Recently I haven’t been using as much concealer in order to prevent creasing. I also applied some down my nose, on my forehead & on my chin. I set my under eye area using Too Faced Born This Way powder (£20) with a Real Techniques contour brush. I set the rest of my face with Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder (£3.99) on a Morphe fluffy brush. I then dipped into the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette (£6.99) – I used a Morphe s13 brush and applied the contour shade to carve out my cheek bones. Then on the same brush I applied Fenty Sun Stalk’r bronzer in ‘Shady Biz’ (£23) to bronze up my face a little. If you want to read my review on the Fenty Bronzer you can do so HERE. I used the Wet n Wild blush brush to apply Clinique Cheek Pop in the shade ‘Ginger Pop’ (£17). For highlight on a Morphe s26, I used Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminating Powder Gelee in the shade ‘Heat Wave’ (£38) which is super stunning but limited edition so snatch it up quick!
To complete the look I used NYX lip liner in the shade ‘Peakaboo Neutral’ (£3.50) and BECCA Ultimate Lipstick in the shade ‘Truffle’ (£20).
What do you think of the finished look? I’m obsessed with the pinky tones this Summer! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

The look is beautiful! I actually really like the look of the palette too. I know it got a lot of backlash for being neutral but that’s what most people wear day-to-day? x
