Empties #11

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday. I hope you all have a great weekend. The weather is lovely at the moment so I’m enjoying my weekend for sure. Today I want to share with you my empties from the last 2 months (ish). I have quite a few things that are *almost* empty but haven’t quite made the cut this time, but they’ll feature in the next one! If you’re interested in finding out my thoughts of things I’ve completely used up then just keep reading.

PerfectDerm Collagen Mask
(gifted) I used this sheet mask after using my Derma Roller one time & I did really like it. It gave my skin lots of moisture and calmed the skin down after the derma roller procedure. It was really cooling too, so a lovely relaxing experience. I think you can only get this online which is a little annoying as I like to just pick up any sheet masks in store when I’m out and about.
Repurchase? Probably not as I can easily get good sheet masks in store.

Sephora Pineapple Face Mask
I picked this one up in Poland and pretty much used it as soon as I got home. I love how saturated in liquid this mask was – I felt like I was giving my skin lots of hydration and goodness. After taking this off my skin felt really healthy and definitely smooth. Over all a great mask.
Repurchase? If I get chance to go into a Sephora any time soon.

GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment
I got this little sample sachet of this mask and I was super excited to use it as GlamGlow is such a good brand! When I applied this it did kind of sting my skin, but it also felt cooling and hydrating. I left it on for the stated time & after rinsing it off my skin was nicely moisturised. I really liked the result! However, the next day I did wake up with a breakout unfortunately… & since the mask did sting me, I’m wondering if I am sensitive to something in the mask.
Repurchase? Probably not.

GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment
I also got the clearing treatment in a little sachet. I love the L’oreal charcoal mask so I thought I’d give this higher end one a little try, and I’ve got to say I really love it. The consistency is thinner than I expected, so it spreads easily on the skin. It dried down quickly too which is ideal. After rising, my skin felt so clean & clear, and it looked super fresh & bright.
Repurchase? I’ll probably get the full size at some point.

Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist
There is a little bit left in this, but I decided to pick up a new one as I have had this for just a bit too long really & my skin was looking a little worse for wear & I didn’t want to risk it being this. I love this stuff though. I like to spray my beauty sponge with it before applying foundation & I also love to use it as a hydrating setting spray when my skins looking dry. It’s super affordable so you can’t go wrong.
Repurchase? Already have.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
As you can see, this powder crumbled & it got too messy to keep using, so I decided to just pick a new one up since it’s really affordable. This has been my go to powder for ages, I only use it to set my face where I will be applying bronzer etc, just so other powders go on smoothly, and it’s just ideal for that. I have tried a couple other affordable powders which just haven’t performed, so I’ll be sticking with this one!
Repurchase? Already have.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
If you read my blog a lot, you’ll know I’m  still firmly on the Collection concealer band wagon. It’s such a great every day concealer. I prefer it to the Estee Lauder one & it’s SO much cheaper. I also use it as an eye lid primer. I don’t think I’ll ever stop purchasing this. Obviously I have other concealers that I love too,  but this is needed in my collection.
Repurchase? Always.

The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel
I got this when it was on offer in TBS. For a shower gel, I guess TBS is a little expensive. However, I do think they’re really great quality & the scents are incredible. Rose is one of my faves, so I loved using this shower gel. It lathers up  nicely & leaves me feeling clean. What more can I ask for?
Repurchase? Yes.

Imperial Leather Mermazing Shower Gel
I confess that I bought this for the pretty packaging and name. Cute marketing will get me every time. I have used Imperial Leather lots of times because it’s super affordable & something easy to pick up. I found this shower gel to be okay, but it was really slippy and just fell off the skin easily, meaning a good amount of product probably went straight down the drain. So I went through it quickly. I don’t mind too much as it’s cheap, but still kind of annoying.
Repurchase? Probably not any time soon although I do have another Imperial Leather waiting in my stash.

Nivea Firming Body Lotion
I finally used this up! I’ve had it for ages and kept forgetting to use it. However, it genuinely is very good. Don’t get me wrong, it can’t work wonders.. but I feel like it did make my skin a little firmer when I was using it consistently. It’s not intensely moisturising though, which is why I often found myself choosing butters over it.
Repurchase? Maybe in the future.

Nivea Pearl & Beauty Deodorant
Just a basic deodorant really. Honestly I need to try a natural alternative & I think it all the time but I haven’t seen any reviews of good ones? So I keep just picking up whatever’s on offer. This one did leave white marks though so I’ll try to avoid this one anyway.
Repurchase? No

Batiste Dry Shampoo
We all know this is a staple for every girl. My hair gets greasy so quickly, but I can’t wash it every day. I don’t particularly love the feel of dry shampoo, but sometimes you just need it to look okay. I do want to try the Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo to see if it’s better. But this one is so cheap!
Repurchase? Already have another.

Sanctuary Spa Moisture Burst Cleanser
I enjoyed using this cleanser. I usually go for a gel formula when it comes to cleansers & I’ve gone through a couple of these now. It does leave a bit of residue on my face if I don’t thoroughly rinse, so it’s not one I use if I’m rushing. I took a mini of this on holiday, but I ended up leaving it there so I could bring back more liquids (I bought a new foundation whilst away). I do like this, but it’s not my all time fave any more.
Repurchase? I have another one in my collection.

Nivea Soft Moisturiser
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of this moisturiser. It’s super affordable & it does the job well. It gives my face a healthy appearance without making it greasy as some products can. I often think about trying a higher end moisturiser, but I kind of think there’s no point when this one is great!
Repurchase? Yes.

Zoella Hungry Hands Hand Cream
So I finally finished this hand cream… from a Christmas range… in Summer. This lasted me so long because you only needed a small amount. It was really moisturising & you did have to be careful not to use too much or my hands would end up sticky. The gingerbread scent was one of my fave things about this. It was delicious!
Repurchase? I have another one, but it’s Limited Edition.

L’oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask
I have already mentioned my love for this mask earlier on in the post. It’s a super good affordable option that leaves my skin feeling clean & fresh. I use this whenever my skins feeling congested and it sorts me right out. It’s a staple in my mask collection.
Repurchase? Yes.

That’s all for this empties post! What have you used up lately?

Loved this post! Empties posts are my favourite to read because someone probably must really love something if they’ve used all of it, plus they’ll usually have a highly informed opinion because they’ve tried it more than once. 🙂 xx

I can’t remember the last time I used Rimmel Stay Matte powder, it’s such a staple. I used to love it so much, but now I kinda moved on to loose powders. I need to pick it up again soon. Also, would love to try that Sephora pineapple mask, it sound amazing. xx

Ahh it’s such a great one isn’t it? I have been delving into loose powders a bit more too, but I still love the pressed ones xx
