Hi everyone, how are you all? I hope you’ve all had a great week so far. I’ve been pretty busy this week. I went to the cinema yesterday to watch Toy Story 4 & then I went out for some food afterwards with my boyfriend. It was nice to do something fun after a long day at work. On my blog today I wanted to share with you all a date night look which I created using mostly all affordable products. I really loved the look in the end so if you want to know how I created it then just keep reading.
Step One – Base
To prime the skin, I first went in with the L’oreal Infallible primer (£8.99). I love this one for a smooth base at the moment. After this, on a beauty sponge I applied the L’oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation (£10.99). I’m obsessed with this foundation at the moment as it gives me both dewy skin & coverage.
Step Two – Eyes
For my brows I used the Benefit Brow Zings palette (£27), which I know doesn’t really come in the region of affordable products, but I don’t have many options when it comes to my brows as I tend to stick to the same thing. I used Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) on my eye lids as a base for eyeshadow. I then went into the Revolution Reloaded Provocative palette (£4) which I recently picked up and think is perfect for a date night! I love Revolution eye shadow a lot, the palettes are amazing yet really affordable. I set the concealer on my eyelid using a cream coloured shade. I then went into a light mauve shadow (4th on top row) and applied this all through my crease with a Morphe s27 brush. I packed on quite a lot of this colour, then I went into a darker mauve shade (1st on top row) and deepened up my crease with the more precise Morphe s12 brush. With the same brush I applied a small amount of a deep mauve/purple shade (5th on top row) onto the very outer edges of the eyelid. Once I was happy with all the blending, I added some NYX glitter primer (£8) onto the centre of my eyelids. With my finger I then applied some of the Colourpop x Kathleen Lights Zodiac Loose Pigment in the shade ‘The Scales’ ($8) on top of the glitter glue. It was my first time using this one & I am so obsessed now!
To complete the eye look I created a wing with the Wet N Wild Proline Felt Tip Eyeliner (£4). I applied some Eyeronic False Lashes in the style Merida (Discontinued) & Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99)
Step Three – Finishing
With a Morphe s4 brush, I applied the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer (£4) under my eyes, down my nose & on the centre of my forehead. I then set my face using the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder (£3.99) with a big fluffy brush. I then went into the Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette (£18). With a Morphe s13 brush I used the cool toned contour shade to carve out my cheek bones, then I used the bronze shade to warm up the face a little. Next I took a Real Techniques contour brush and applied Max Factor Creme Puff Blush (£8.99) in the shade Lovely Pink. For highlight I used a mix of the pink & white shades from the Revolution x Soph highlight palette (£8) on a Morphe s26 brush. Finally, I applied Colourpop x Zoella Ultra Matte Liquid Lip ($7) in the shade @ Me.
And that’s the completed date night look! What do you think? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below.

Oh I love eye look, so pretty. Pinky tones suit you so well. I think that tomorrow I’ll wear pink eye shadow also, I haven’t wear it in long time. Such a pretty look. xx

Thanks so much! The pink & purple tones are my fave x
I’ve only tried one Revolution palette that actually had some colours (I usually go quite neutral) but found that it wasn’t very pigmented! It doesn’t look like you’ve had the same problem- this look is gorgeous!

Oh that’s such a shame. Revolution seems to have the best affordable palettes I’ve tried, I guess I’m lucky that I haven’t picked up a dud yet! & Thankyou x
That L’oreal foundation is an old favourite of mine as it’s great for drier skin! That revolution palette also looks amazing; their palettes never fail!
