Hey everyone, I am so ready to share my September favourites with you! I have a few things that I have really been loving this month, including both premium & affordable products. I think I have found quite a good mix of products this month which I’m excited to talk about. I hope you enjoy this post & maybe find it useful in some way!
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA (£5.80)
Yes, another product from The Ordinary… I had been wanting to try more chemical exfoliants for a while, & when the brand launched at Boots I thought it was the perfect time to pick something up! You can get this in the lower concentrate of 5% if you haven’t used much chemical exfoliants, or if you have sensitive skin. However, I decided to get the 10%! I have been loving using this so much – it has made my skin feel much softer & slowly the texture is getting a lot better. I don’t use it every single day yet, but I will gradually be increasing the amount. Currently I use it every other day. It definitely earned a place in my September favourites!
Superdrug Vitamin E Facial Serum (£3.99)
£3.99 for a serum… I picked this up because it was buy one get one half price when I was picking up the face mist from the same range (I love that stuff over makeup). I decided to get this because it claimed to give extra moisture & I will never not want that. Vitamin E is a great anti-oxidant ingredient which protects skin from environmental damage & pollution. I love this serum as it definitely gives me a nice bit of moisture before applying my moisturiser & I like including an anti-oxidant in my skin care routine. The bottle of this is ideal to travel with – a number of my other serums come in glass bottles, so I’ve been throwing this one in my bag throughout September as I have had a couple weekend trips this month.
Fenty Beauty Hydrating Primer (£24)
This has quickly become an absolute favourite primer of mine so I just had to put in my September favourites. I can see myself using this consistently for a long time. It creates a nice smooth, hydrated base for my makeup. Foundation goes on nicer when I use this one. It hides texture better than other primers. I like the packaging of this primer – it looks super sleek & expensive. It is a glass bottle though, which isn’t ideal to travel with. However, I love this one so much that I’d probably decant some product if I was going away for a significant amount of time. If you have drier skin I would 100% recommend picking this primer up.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer (£25)
I only picked this concealer up pretty recently, but I still wanted to talk about it in my September favourites, as I struggle to find concealers that work well for me. I have really dark under eyes, but also find concealers crease super easily on me. It’s hard to combat both at the same time! This concealer is really creamy & quite thick – it covers the darkness better than a lot of concealers. It does crease, but since it’s so creamy it’s easier to tap back in & smooth out the creases. It never looks dry on me, which is a huge bonus! It is pricey for a concealer, but you get a lot of product in one bottle – 15ml – which is double a lot of concealers. If you have troublesome under eyes, it’s worth checking this one out. They also recently released a bunch of new shades, so if you’ve struggled in the past, maybe something will now work for you.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99)
This an old favourite, but I recently picked up a new one since I’m finally making my way through my mascara collection. I have tried many mascaras, but this one is still my favourite. It gives me volume, length & curl. It doesn’t smudge under my brow bone which happens to me so often (The YSL Effet Faux Cils being the number 1 culprit). It doesn’t flake & stays looking great all day. It’s an affordable mascara, but truly it’s better than any premium mascara I’ve used.
Benefit Roller Liner Eyeliner (£18.50)
I finally found my perfect liquid eyeliner, so I just had to include it in this September favourites post. I love how easy this one is to apply, the nib of the felt tip liner is really long & flexible. The liner is very very black, doesn’t smudge or crumble or fade. It’s a perfect liner! Before now, I had been using the Soap & Glory supercat eyeliner, which is still a nice option for something more affordable. However, this one just looks more black & sharp. I’m obsessed!
That’s all for my September favourites – I absolutely love all these products! Have you tried any of these? Do you want to pick any up? Let me know below!

I buy a LOT of Superdrug’s own brand products – I love that they’re Vegan and CF and they’re actually great quality for the price! I haven’t tried this one yet though, so thank you for the heads up! I’m currently using the Naturally Radiant collection, which is great!

I love the Vitamin E range from Superdrug! Also currently using the Vitamin C range and have been loving that too! I want to get into chemical exfoliators more, so I may have to give the lactic acid a try (Starting with the 5% haha)

I’ve been loving The Ordinary too – such fab products x
II have the same mascara! Albeit I don’t use it nearly enough because I’m lazy lol Love the price versatility you have here – it’s perfect for the peasants (like me!) and the people who splurge on makeup. Great choices!

I love that mascara it really is the best one! And haha, I only splurge when I really want something! I work at boots so I get to try stuff out a little & swatch them daily before I decide to buy lol x
I love the Ordinary products, I have so many but they are really changing my dry, sensitive skin! I love the look of that eyeliner too – I just ran out of mine and I haven’t tried the Benefit one so I’ll need to give it a go! Also I cannot believe you got a serum for £3.99! That’s unreal. I need to get myself to Superdrug!

The ordinary is such an amazing brand right?! I love it! I’d deffo recommend the Benefit liner it’s my favourite one x
I really wanted to love the Too Faced concealer but it’s too thick for me, I find that the product gathers under my eyes quite badly which was so disappointing because I love the other born this way concealer. I think I need to try the Fenty primer, it sounds like it might help with a lot of my foundation issues! x

Oh really! To be fair, I didn’t pick it up for ages because I thought I wouldn’t like how thick it is, but it turns out it works really well for me!!! I guess we are all different.
Deffo try that primer if you have dry skin, I’m loving it! Xx
I’ve recently been using the Superdrug Vitamin E day moisturiser and eye cream and LOVE them! I really want to pick up the serum, oil and night cream as it’s so cheap for the great quality x

I’m deffo interested in trying more of the range too! I’m thinking the oil x
Maybelline Mascara is definitely the best mascara ever! I have also tried so many different mascaras! BUT anyway I am always returning to Maybelline and recommending it to my mother and friends! ♥
