November Favourites 2019

Hi everyone, wow I am so late with my November favourites as we are now well into December, so I apologise. I have just been so busy prepping for Christmas and also enjoying the festivities! I recently had a weekend break with my boyfriend in Birmingham to see the markets and finish buying presents. It was so much fun and was amazing to have some time to ourselves.
For my November favourites I have a few products to share with you and they are all makeup based this month. I hope that you will find this useful!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (£22)
I am honestly so late to this bandwagon but I finally gave this cult favourite mascara a go and I can definitely see why so many people love it. It gives me fluttery lashes with extra volume! It’s perfect for an every day look and just makes me feel so much prettier. It isn’t often I fall in love with a high end mascara as I do find my Maybelline Lash Sensational to be so amazing at a lower price. However, this Too Faced mascara gives me something more. I’m obsessed and can see this becoming my most used.

NYX Highlight & Contour Wonder Stick (£11.50)
I picked this up on a recommendation from a friend. I haven’t tried cream contour before and wanted to try it out using something not super expensive so I thought this was a nice option. I don’t use the highlight side too much, but it is decent for highlighting the centre of the forehead and chin. I need more of a concealer coverage under my eyes. However, I really have been enjoying the contour side! I apply some on the edges of my forehead and under my cheek bones to carve the face a little more. I blend it out with a dense buffer brush. I love how seamless this looks on the skin – it looks natural whilst also giving my face more shape. I definitely think cream contour can look much more natural/realistic than powder ones now I have used this!

Forencos Tattoo Tint Eyeliner in Daily Brown (£20)
This one was recently kindly sent to me along with another item from the brand! I ended up falling in love with this brown eyeliner. Prior to this I have always chosen a black eyeliner as I feel this is most common, however when I was given the choice between black & brown I felt that brown could give me that something different with my makeup look. It is only subtly different from a black liner, but it makes my eye look appear softer. It is perfect for a soft pretty look. I love how easy this one is to use, the nib is thin and flexible. It also stays on ALL day as the name ‘Tattoo Tint’ suggests.

Too Faced Hangover Primer (£26)
Another Too Faced product… I feel that this brand is becoming my favourite as I’m obsessed with so many of their products at the moment. This primer makes for the perfect smooth, hydrated base! My makeup goes over this like a dream – it makes everything blend out better. It keeps my skin looking healthier as it means my foundation doesn’t look dry. The probiotic skin care ingredients in there really help nourish the skin for extra benefits! If you have a drier skin type, I would definitely recommend trying this primer out. I have used it every single day lately and I can’t see that changing any time soon.

Clarins Lip Comfort Oil in Raspberry (£19)
I have been eyeing this up for a while but didn’t want to spend so much on a lip oil, however I bit the bullet when this was on 15% off at Boots (where I work). I am really glad I picked this up, and now I know how amazing it is, I won’t mind as much paying for it in the future. This one intensely hydrates the lips, leaving them feeling so soft! It also looks really pretty on its own on the lips as it gives them such a glass like shine. I feel that this looks so nice, whilst also being incredible for the lips.. its a win win! If you suffer from dry lips then definitely check this out as I feel this has given me long term results and my lips feel less dry in general now. I love this so much I couldn’t not include it in my November favourites!

MAC Pigment Mini in Rose (£10)
I got this in my MAC advent calendar and I am loving it so much! I opened a few boxes before December (oops) as I wanted to share a couple on my Instagram stories (blogger life…). This was inside one of the boxes! It is a mini, but pigments like this last so long so I’m sure I’ll have this for quite a while. The shade is an absolutely gorgeous rosy pink with gold reflects. I am a pink lover and actually a little more scared of gold’s as I’m not sure they suit me, but this is the perfect way for me to incorporate a bit more gold into my makeup! I have been using a glitter glue underneath to ensure it looks super pigmented and stays put all day and I have gotten so many compliments when wearing this. Such a great way to amp up a makeup look! I’ll definitely check out other shades of pigments from MAC.

That’s all for my November favourites! I think I have a nice selection of products here, and I hope you found this post useful.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below!
