Hey everyone, I am back with an empties post! It’s been quite a while since I last posted here on my blog, and I have missed it so much! You may or may not know that I have recently moved into a new flat with my boyfriend Michael. We’ve been so busy getting everything sorted, and I haven’t had any WiFi so unfortunately blogging has had to take a back seat. However I am now back for good and ready to share a new post with you. This one is an empties – one of my fave kind of posts to write AND read. I don’t include the things I am constantly getting through (think Johnsons makeup wipes), so with all that said, let’s get into it!
PS Velvet Matte Crayon in Dulce De Leche
I mentioned a couple of other shades from this Primark range in my last declutter post. This shade is one I actually used up. It’s a lovely deeper pink toned nude that worked well on no makeup makeup days. They’re comfortable to wear and super affordable. I do have so many lip products in my collection that are longer wearing & also last longer as a product as you didn’t get much lipstick in this one.
Repurchase? No (Not sure they still make them)
Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer
This is a super popular drugstore concealer & I find that so many people love this one. For me, it isn’t enough coverage and it creases quite a lot under my eyes so it isn’t one I reach for a lot. I use this one on my eye lids sometimes. I like the big doe foot applicator. I have another of these still in my collection that I haven’t opened yet.
Repurchase? Probably not when I’ve used the one I already bought.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation
I’m still sort of on the fence with this one. At first, I hated it. It looked so dry on my skin and faded very quickly and left me looking patchy. I still wanted to try and use the tube up though so I persisted (though it’s taken a long time to get this one used up for an empties). I found that it looks nicer with a sponge than a brush, it blends it out nicer. I also don’t like the way this looks when I build it up for more coverage. I think this is quite nice for days I’m not bothered about wearing a tonne of makeup and just want something more natural – that’s how I used it up. I know so many love this one, but it isn’t really for me.
Repurchase? I doubt it.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
This is my all time fave foundation which I wear when I want my makeup to last really long & stay looking flawless. It gives me amazing coverage and looks smooth on the skin. It never fails for me! The empty bottle is in the shade Cool Bone, I have another Cool Bone to use up (which I had to panic buy in Poland when I didn’t have one packed!) and then I am going to try a new shade as I find this looks a bit too pink on me now.
Repurchase? Of course.
Morphe Continuous Setting Mist
I discovered this one after Kathleen Lights spoke about it a lot. I’ve never actually been someone who uses setting sprays, but now I do I have no idea why I haven’t before! This one helps the makeup mesh together nicer and makes it looks more like real skin. If you ever have that dry powdery look then this is a great go to! The mist on this one is perfect – it is so fine & as the name suggests, continuous. It never leaves droplets on my face.
Repurchase? Already have.
George Glamour’eyes Liquid Eyeliner
I have had this for far too long and think the last bit has dried up, so it’s time to feature it in my empties. I used to love the liquid eyeliners that come with a dip in pot and applicator brush like this one – I found them easier. Now however, I tend to prefer the felt tip ones. If you do like this kind of liner then this is amazing – it’s so cheap & the formula is the perfect level of wet, so it doesn’t run or smudge but it also doesn’t drag on like dry ones can. This is a nice option, but I am currently loving other liners more.
Repurchase? No.
MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mini
I used this mini up on my lower lash line – it didn’t smudge which I was really pleased with because I do have a problem with a lot of mascaras smudging under my eyes. I couldn’t say too much about this since it’s only a mini and I didn’t wear it on my upper lashes.
Repurchase? Maybe.
Wet N Wild Proline Felt Tip Eyeliner
I liked this Wet N Wild eyeliner, it was easy to use due to the fine tip. It stayed on really well too. It didn’t last me too long & dried up quite quickly which is a shame. However, it is an affordable option.
Repurchase? Probably not.
Eylure Exaggerate No. 146 Lashes
Prior to this I hadn’t used Eylure lashes in years. I found other lashes that I seemed to prefer. I got this around Christmas. I liked the volume these had – I usually opt for fairly natural looking lashes but I do like something with a bit more drama if I’m going out for an evening.
Repurchase? Maybe.
Eyeronic Lashes in Elsa & Anastasia
I’ve mentioned before that Eyeronic Lashes are my fave lash brand that are unfortunately closing down! I did bulk buy lots of lashes from them, so I’m sure I’ll be mentioning them again and again on my blog, including in my empties, until I’ve used them all up. These 2 are actually more dramatic than all the other styles I have, but I liked these around Christmas and new year.
Repurchase? If I could.
Duo Lash Glue
This is the only lash glue I use. It sticks my lashes on well and I never have a problem with them popping off. It dries down to be clear, but you can also get one that dries down to be black from the same brand.
Repurchase? Already have.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
If you read my blog a lot you’ll know that this is one of my go to mascara’s, and it has cropped up in many previous empty posts. It’s an affordable drugstore option that gives me length, volume & curl! I find that this performs just as well as some really popular high end mascaras. Definitely recommend giving this a go if you haven’t already.
Repurchase? Yes.
L’oreal Miss Manga Mascara
If you love messy and wispy lashes then you might really like this mascara. The brush is very flexible so you can get right to the root of the lashes easily which allows a good amount of volume. This does boast mega volume & I don’t believe it is quite that impressive, but for an affordable mascara it does the job. This probably expired a long time ago and should have been on a different empties considering it has been virtually empty in my drawer for a while now.
Repurchase? Probably not.
No 7 Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser
I picked this up a while ago when I wanted to try a new cleanser. I particularly enjoyed this one whenever my skin was feeling extra dry, tight and stripped. It’s super gentle and nourishing on the skin whilst it removes any makeup or dirt. If you have sensitive or very dry skin then I’d definitely suggest giving this a go.
Repurchase? I might do.
Olay ‘7 in one’ Featherweight Moisturiser SPF 15
I picked this up as I wanted some SPF for my face. I didn’t research before picking it up which was likely my downfall. I ended up really not liking this moisturiser and it is still mostly full, but I am not keeping it so wanted to talk about it in this empties post. It left such a bad greasy residue on my skin despite the ‘featherweight’ claims.
Repurchase? No.
Nivea Soft Moisturiser
I know there are moisturisers on the market that are much better for the skin in terms of ingredients, and I have some in my collection, but I do love this Nivea one when my skin wants something thicker & creamier. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I also got my boyfriend loving this too.
Repurchase? More than likely.
Revolution Superfruit Extract Serum & Primer
I have spoke about this product quite a bit on my blog & it’s finally reached my empties. It lasted a long time. I used this as a primer as opposed to a serum. It made my skin feel soft & hydrated. I often applied a second primer on top of this one, such as a pore filling primer. My makeup always sat nicer when I used this too.
Repurchase? Yes.
Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Serum
I am amazed at how great this serum is considering the price (about £4!). I love Vitamin E as an ingredient, I think it keeps my skin healthier. It’s quite a thick consistency – which is different from other serums I have tried. But I think that helps with adding extra moisture into the skin. I would definitely recommend this one if you’re wanting a cheap addition for your skin care routine.

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream Mini
I loved using this mini Elemis cream – it worked wonders for my skin leaving it looking so much fresher & gave me a lovely radiance too. It made my skin so smooth! I think this one also helps with skin health and healing. The full size of this is esspensiveeeee & I just don’t know if I can justify that since I am getting on well with other moisturisers too.
Repurchase? Maybe one day.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Mini
It’s no secret I love cleanse & polish. It’s such a lovely nourishing cleanser that makes my skin so smooth. It cleans the skin perfectly without stripping it at all. It’s such a popular cleanser & I can really see why. It’s worth the money!
Repurchase? Already got the full size.
Ted Baker Vanilla Lip Balm
I have had this one in my hand bag for a long time and it’s finally reached my empties! Honestly this is on of my fave balms. It is thick in texture & really coats the lips leaving a thick film of hydration. I liked this vanilla scented one a lot as vanilla is right up my street. I have 2 more of these as I got them in a set, so I’ve already thrown another in my bag!
Repurchase? Not yet.
Aloe Vera Vaseline
I’m not sure when or why I got this vaseline tin as I’m honestly not keen on vaseline on the lips anymore – it’s greasy & there are far better options! However, since I had this one I decided to use it up on my bed side table. It’s not virtually empty so I’m binning it. I’m not keen on aloe vera (although I know it has great properties)
Repurchase? No.
Silvikrin Classic Max Hold Hairspray
This is one of my go to hairsprays & I will always have some in my collection. I can’t live without hairspray as I use it every time I curl my hair. It holds my hair well without feeling too crunchy.
Repurchase? Yes.
Right Guard Magic Oil Pink Jasmine Shower Gel
This is a super affordable shower gel you can pretty much get anywhere, but it is actually super good! It is really nice and moisturising for an in shower product thanks to the oils. It lathers well, cleans well and leaves me feeling silky smooth.
Repurchase? Yes.
The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel & Coconut Shower Cream Minis
As you may know, I love TBS as a brand and they have featured in my empties plenty of times. I like the minis as they are ideal for travelling. The scents are lovely and I particularly enjoyed the strawberry scent.
Repurchase? At some point.
Soap & Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash
Well it took a longggg time to get through this huge face wash. I’m the kind of person who likes to change up my products so I did kind of get bored of this before finishing, but I did keep going! I think this is a nice wash that leaves your skin looking so bright with continued use (thanks to the vitamin c) and I definitely did see results! If you have dry skin like me, you definitely need to pair this with a good moisturiser so that it doesn’t dry you out more.
Repurchase? I’d get a smaller size if possible.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Towelettes
I got these ‘makeup wipes’ when I purchased some other Clinique products. I thought I would really like these but unfortunately they are too greasy for me and leave a residue on the skin that I just didn’t like. They are pricey for wipes, so I’ll definitely stick to my Johnsons ones.
Repurchase? No.
Nivea 3 in 1 Cleansing Wipes
I did not like these at all as they were just not saturated in enough liquid and are far too dry to remove makeup. I used these up removing swatches / cleaning up eyeliner etc.
Repurchase? No.
Batiste Dry Shampoo
Can any girl live without this? It is just necessary some days when your hair is due a wash but you don’t have time. I have spoken about this a lot in previous empties. It doesn’t feel amazing in the hair, but it makes it look 10 times better. It does leave a bit of a white cast, but I can massage it in fairly well. It is better than other dry shampoo’s I’ve used.
Repurchase? Always.
Kerastase Ciment Thermique Heat Protectant
I definitely like to spend a little extra effort and money when it comes to heat protectant as it is something I really care about. My hair has been damaged in the past so I need to take care now it is back in good condition. I like this one as it makes my hair feel healthy and smooth as well as protected.
Repurchase? I decided to try a new one from Bumble & Bumble, which I am loving.
& that’s all for my empties. Wow, I had a lot to get through, so if you made it until the end then thank you so much for sticking with me! Have you tried any of these?
Thanks for reading!

Love a good old empties post, especially with so many products. I strangely love collection empties for 3-4 months and then see how much I actually used up, it’s so satisfying. I actually used up highlighter few days ago, it took so long but I managed to do it hah. Lovely post. xx
Author
Wow well done for using up a whole highlighter! I feel like using makeup products up takes longer than skin care etc. Thanks for reading xx
I absolutely love the Revolution conceal & define concealer! It’s one of my fave concealers of all time, especially considering the price tag x
Author
I wish I loved it! It’s such a fab price though x
Those Primark lip crayons are sharpenable so you probably had more product in there 🙂
I just ran out of my Morphe Continuous Setting Mist and I already miss it! x
Author
oh really?! I tried sharpening one but it didn’t show me any more product? Maybe they have changed them or something! I love the morphe mist x
Oh my goodness you have so many recent empties! I love Double Wear and I’m constantly re-buying it- that hairspray is my go-to as well. Some of these other things that I’ve not tried sound great too though!

I know – I left far too long between empties & they gathered fast haha. Double wear really is superior! x
