Hey everyone, happy March! I’m so glad it’s finally here.. I am so ready for some warmer weather and brighter days. Since February is over, it’s time to share with you my February favourites! I have a few bits that I have been loving recently to talk about in this post, so if you want to discover some amazing products the keep reading!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (£22)
I’ve finally succumbed to the hype of this one. When I first used it, I didn’t fall in love instantly, but over time I’ve come to adore this one & I have been using it every day. It gives me volume and curl. The result is flirty fluttery lashes that are perfect for every day. This one doesn’t smudge or transfer which makes it an absolute winner! I already have another one of these in back up ready to use when my current one is done with. If you haven’t yet tried this mascara then definitely give it a go; I’m sure you’ll love it too!
Morphe x Jeffree Star Eye Shadow Palette (£35)
If you read my blog a lot you’ll likely already know I’ve been loving this Morphe x Jeffree Star palette as I wrote a full review on it, but I still had to include it in my February Favourites. I have been reaching for it a lot as I am able to create day to day looks, or something a little bit more adventurous and colourful. The quality of Morphe shadows are of course always amazing. You can’t go wrong with this!
Skin Chemists Acai & Goji Berry Serum (£39)
I was recently *gifted this serum from Skin Chemists to test out. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now & have used it every evening & many mornings too. I absolutely love this one! I will soon be doing a full review, but I am so obsessed with this one that I had to mention it here in my February Favourites too. My skin health has improved a lot since I added this into my skin care routine. Redness has definitely decreased and my skin feels more hydrated and supple than before. Today I went shopping with no makeup on because my skin is feeling & looking so much nicer.
Primark Glow Iridescent Primer (£2)
If you missed my last post all about my Primark beauty haul then you would have missed me talking about this primer. The more I’ve used this the more I’ve been enjoying it. It’s a super runny consistency, but it adds glow into the skin which creates a nice base for makeup. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth, allowing makeup to glide on easily. I do tend to combine this with another thicker primer for my nose & chin. For £2 this is so worth it.
Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Concealer in Honey (£25)
Another Too Faced mention.. I just adore this brand! You may already know that my favourite ever concealer is the Too Faced Born This Way. I mentioned it in 2019 Yearly Favourites & I talk about it a lot. I recently picked up the shade Honey to use as a contour shade and I am so obsessed! The shade is perfect to sculpt the face, and the creamy liquid formula is perfect to blend out. It looks so much smoother than powder! I do add a bronzer on top of this to set it but this has truly upped my makeup game & I have had so many compliments when I wear this.
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick in Third Date (£22)
Huda Beauty is such a popular brand and I’ve recently been learning more about it as we finally got a Huda stand in Boots where I work. I decided to pick up one of the bullet lipsticks as the shades are beautiful and the formula felt so creamy and pigmented. I chose ‘Third Date’ which is a deep pink with quite a bit of red in it. These last so long on the lips and stay super opaque throughout the day. I’ve wore this a lot lately so of course I needed to include it in my February Favourites.
That’s all for this one! Let me know if you try any of these products out & what you think! Have an amazing March.
