SkinChemists Acai & Goji Berry Serum Review | #Gifted

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I can’t believe we are already in the fourth month of the year, 2020 is definitely turning out to be a bit of a weird one so far. Today I want to share with you my thoughts on the SkinChemists Acai & Goji Berry Serum that I have been using for some weeks now. I was kindly sent this product from SkinChemists’ themselves, so this is a #gifted post, but of course all opinions are my own!

Overview
The SkinChemists Acai & Goji Berry serum is rich in antioxidants. It aims to increase moisture and hydration deep in the skin. It also works to decrease redness and inflammation. The brand claims that this serum will rejuvenate the skin leaving it firmer and tighter, slowing down the ageing process.

The packaging is nice and sleek in a glass bottle with a little dropper applicator. This also comes in a SkinChemists box. A 30ml bottle will cost £39 which is pretty pricey, so lets see if it is worth it!

Review
If you read my blog regularly you may already know that I have been getting on well with the SkinChemists Acai & Goji Berry serum as I mentioned it in my February favourites.

When I first received this serum, I was unsure if it was going to make much difference to my skin as the texture is SO thin, it is like water, and as soon as it is applied, it’s disappeared! But I persisted, using a small amount every evening; and sure enough I genuinely saw improvement in my skin with continued use.

Overall my skin health has improved. I tend to get quite a bit of redness in my skin and this definitely reduced that after a few weeks use. Because of this I feel my skin looks clearer and more even. I have also noticed that my skin feels more supple and ‘bouncy’, so if you have lacklustre tired skin, I would recommend checking this one out for sure.

I can’t say this increases surface hydration (I have my trusty Origins moisturiser for that!), but due to the fact my skin feels more supple, I do think it is working on that deeper level.

This one is pretty pricey, but it has made an overall difference with my skin and it’s a key part of my skin care routine now.

Would you try this one out? Let me know!

Jazmin xx

It’s been just the oddest year, hasn’t it? This sounds great – I love the packaging too. I’m big into my serums right now so I’d love to experiment with some new ones!

I’ve been looking for an alternative for my bare minerals serum, just to try something new. I like the sound of this so I think I may have to try this for myself and see if it matches up and works well with my skin or not. Great review.

I’ve heard good things about this brand in the past but haven’t actually tried anything from them before. This serum actually sounds really nice my skin is more in the oily side so I don’t think it would do much for me x

This sounds like one that I’d love as long as it my skin wasn’t irritated by it (fruity things have a habit of that). It’s great that you think it’s working on a slightly deeper level. I love serums with a thinner texture because I think they tend to layer up so much better. Great review, I’m glad you’re enjoying it x

Definitely agree about a thinner texture layering up better! I hadn’t really thought of it like that but it’s so true x
