Hey everyone, wow… I am so much more unproductive during lockdown? It doesn’t make any sense, but I got way more done before all of this. But these days I spend my whole day playing Animal Crossing, watching Youtube videos, and cooking! Today though, I want to share with you my favourite cleansers. When it comes to skincare, I have tried a lot of different products… I currently have tons of stuff in my collection (I really need to sort through my skin care…). When it comes to cleansers, out of the many I own, I currently have three absolute favourites. These are the three I rotate between daily. I thought I’d share my thoughts on each one as all of them are pretty different! I hope you find this helpful, and find a cleanser you may really enjoy.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (£27 for 200ml)
The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Cleanser is amazing. Before trying it, I heard so many good things about it, and I knew it was a super popular option! So when I got the chance to try out some new products from work (I work at Boots) I opted for this one. It is targeted for all skin types as it has ingredients that work well for both dry and oily skin types. I used to be someone that would never go for a cream based cleanser, I felt they didn’t cleanse my skin enough. But the cleanse & polish really nourishes the skin whilst also making it feel very fresh and clean, likely thanks to the eucalyptus. The Liz Earle cotton cloths help with a light exfoliation when you remove the cream cleanser from the skin. You don’t have to use one of the cloths but I personally like it! My skin feels smooth and clean afterwards, but it doesn’t feel tight or stripped.
Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Foaming Cleanser (£23)
I am so sad because I think this foaming cleanser might be discontinued?! & replaced with a new gel creme cleanser. I can’t vouch for the completely new cleanser. But I still want to discus this product I have as I adore it and it definitely is part of my favourite cleansers! I hadn’t used a foaming cleanser in so long, and I did worry that this would strip my skin, but it hasn’t and it is perfect for when my skin feels like it needs an intense cleanse. That is the key reason I am loving this cleanser. It will remove everything! The vitamin C offers some brightening affects – of course the brightening isn’t super crazy as with this being a cleanser, the vitamin C doesn’t sit on the skin for super long.
ARK Skincare Skin Clear Cleanser (£25)
ARK skincare is a brand that is relatively new to me. I was introduced to them a couple of months ago when the brand kindly GIFTED me some products (full post about ARK Skincare here). So full disclosure, I didn’t purchase this myself. I have ended up really loving this one though! This is a gel formula, and it is packed with amazing ingredients that do the skin a world of good. I find this one really clears my skin up if I have any breakouts etc. So I will reach for this one if my skins feeling a little congested. It isn’t stripping, my skin feels comfortable, smooth and clean after using this one.
And that’s my three favourite cleansers, each has a different formula, and I reach for each one depending on the state of my skin that day! I like having a few different products in my collection to choose from.
Have you tried any of these? Let me know!
Jazmin xx

I’m so glad you started off this post saying how less productive you are in lockdown because I totally am too- I started it thinking I’d have so much more time to get stuff done but I don’t know where the time is going! I love the Hot Cloth Cleanser but haven’t tried the other two cleansers yet!

I’m glad it’s not just me, the days just seem to get away from me at the moment! The hot cloth cleanser is great! x
I’ll have to check out the Liz Earle cleanser, I hope it’s sold in the states. The Ark cleanser sounds perfect for me because it’s gel and that’s a gentle form to use on my sensitive skin. Thanks for sharing Jazmin, I feel like I have more options to try
