Hey everyone, I hope you’re all well! Today I want to share with you my current ‘go to’ easy glam makeup look. I haven’t posted a makeup look/tutorial here on my blog since May when I shared 2 Looks Using The Morphe x James Charles Mini Palette + Review, so I wanted to update you all on what kind of looks and products I’ve been going for lately.
Step One – Eyes: I first used Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) on my eye lids to prep for eye shadow, I blended this out with a Real Techniques brush. I know Collection have recently changed the packaging of this concealer; I’m unsure if the formula has changed too or not. I’m currently still using an old one (& have an old back up too). I kept the eyeshadow incredibly simple. Using a Morphe s27 eyeshadow brush I applied a cream shade all over the lid, and then buffed a light brown shade into my crease. Both shadows came from the Morphe Bronzed Mocha palette (which looks as if it may have been discontinued?!), however any shadows would easily work.
I used Benefit Roller Liner (£19.50) to create a wing, which is the statement of this glam look. Only recently have I gotten back into liquid eyeliner, I now wear it pretty much every day! I love this Benefit eyeliner, I have had it quite a while now & it hasn’t dried up at all! I’ll probably need to repurchase soon though.
I opted for Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99), and also added some Eyeronic Lashes in the style Aurora. Unfortunately this brand doesn’t exist anymore, which is super sad as they made my fave lashes… but I still have quite a few pairs left as I bulk bought them!
I’ve recently had HD brows for the first ever time (I love them!) so I didn’t do much to my eyebrows. I did however use the new Benefit Brow Microfilling Pen (£22.50) to fill them in a little bit! I’m loving this pen at the moment, however I think it would maybe be a pain to use this to completely fill in my brow if I hadn’t just had HD brows.
Step Two – Base: To prime I used the ARK Skincare Skin Protector SPF 30 Primer (£36). SPF is so important even when it isn’t super sunny, & since my skin is kind of dry lately I’ve been reaching for a moisturising one like this. For foundation I went for Clinique Beyond Perfecting (£28.50), I’ve definitely fell more and more in love with this one the more I’ve used it – it is full coverage but gives a healthy skin look finish. Most full coverage foundations I’ve used have been more matte and drying; this one looks flawless and doesn’t dry my skin out. I used the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection brush (£36) to buff this out, which is expensive but in my opinion it’s so worth it as it’s really upped my makeup game!
I used the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer (£25) in two shades both to conceal & contour. I don’t know how I ever lived without this concealer – it’s now a ride or die! I used a Real Techniques beauty sponge for this.
I then set the concealed areas with Too Faced Born This Way Loose Powder (£22) using a Real Techniques contour brush, & set the rest of my face with the Too Faced Born This Way Pressed Powder Foundation (£28).
I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer Mini (£14.50). I’ll definitely purchase the full size once I’ve used up this mini as it’s the perfect shade and goes on so smoothly! I used Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop (£18) to blush up – this is such a gorgeous blush shade and the perfect level of pigment.
To highlight I used the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in champagne pop (£30). I don’t reach for this all that often, it can come off a little too dark depending on which foundation I’m wearing, however it works well with the Clinique one I chose.
To complete the look I used the HUDA beauty contour and strobe Lip Set in Muse & Angelic (£24). These mauve toned shades are right up my street, & have been for quite a while. HUDA lip products are some of the best I’ve tried! A bolder lip definitely makes the look more glam in my opinion.
That’s the completed look! What do you think? I think it looks pretty simple but glam. Let me know your thoughts!
Jazmin xx
I’m obsessed with you! That eyeliner looks so good. I’ve been meaning to try that Benefit brow product but I’m waiting for a sale, I love Hoola too! It’s probably my favourite bronzer alongside Too Faced’s Chocolate Soleil

Your brows look incredible! I really like Benefit brow products usually but I’ve never tried that pen, need to give that a go at some point. This is such a pretty natural glam look x

I actually really like the pen if you don’t need to fully fill in! Thanks so much x
