Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I’m back with another brand focus post and this time I’m talking all about my fave BECCA Cosmetics products. I was only properly introduced to BECCA less than 2 years ago, but working in Beauty means I am lucky enough to try out lots of new products. Some I love and some don’t perform well enough to make them worth it the cost. So if you want to know which BECCA products are worth purchasing then just keep reading!
OVERVIEW
BECCA as a brand seem focus on ‘the glow’ and enhancing natural beauty with sometimes minimal, always glowing makeup and skin! Their best selling product (and most well known) is definitely the Shimmering Skin Perfector highlighter in Champagne Pop. I have this highlighter and although it is pretty, I haven’t included it in my ‘Best Of’ list, as I much prefer some other BECCA products.
The other ‘most talked about’ product is probably the Under Eye Brightening Corrector. Unfortunately I can’t seem to get on with this one, and if you want to know why, check out my Disappointing Products post.
When it comes to foundation and concealer products from BECCA, I haven’t been too impressed unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong, they aren’t the worst products on offer in todays makeup market, but for me they really aren’t stand out products from the brand, and from what I’ve tried so far, I prefer other brands for these base complexion products.
BEST OF BECCA
Ultimate Lipstick Love (£20)
If you’re looking for a full pigment long lasting bullet lipstick, that is still creamy and moisturising then hands down these are my top recommendation. I don’t know how they’ve managed to achieve the staying power that these have along with such a comfortable creamy finish. They have a lovely shade range full of pinks, nudes, reds and browns. The packaging is also super luxe with magnetic closure. The formula is silicone and mineral oil free, and is infused with hyaluronic acid meaning these lipsticks will never dry lips out. I definitely need to pick up a couple more of these. My two go to shades are Truffle and Sugar.
Backlight Priming Filter (£28)
This luminous primer is such a great product from BECCA, and despite the glowy pearlescent finish, all skin types can use this. It isn’t actually a dewy primer, so won’t be too ‘greasy’ for an oily skin type, and if you have a drier skin, just be sure to use a nice moisturiser underneath. This does give a bit of a blurring affect, but not in the same way as heavily silicone focused primers such as the Benefit POREfessional. The best part for me is that even with a fuller coverage foundation on top, the glow from the crushed pearls still manages to shine through giving a nice luminous finish.
Sunlit Bronzer in Ipanema Sun (£27)
This is a bit of a newer edition to my makeup collection, but after 2 months of owning this I definitely consider it one of the best products BECCA have to offer. I picked this bronzer up in a deeper shade than I usually would choose as I wanted an option for when I’m more tanned. However, I am easily able to use this when I’m fair OR tanned. It has a super creamy formula which is easy to build up and blend out without getting patchy. It has a subtle shimmer to it, which makes skin looks healthy and skin kissed with a slight glow, but it hasn’t got glitters or too much shimmer. The packaging is lovely and sleek and contains a mirror too.
Skin Love Glow Shield Prime & Set Mist (£22)
I use this spray after applying all my makeup to allow all the products to mesh together and look less powdery, and instead look more like real skin. This is such a gentle fine mist which refreshes the skin, and adds some moisture. I have a normal-dry skin type, so I always need something like this or setting powders can look dry on my skin. This is also infused with ingredients that are good for the skin such as, Goji Berry, Blueberry extract, Cranberry extract and Vitamin E. So not only does this make makeup look better, it also nourishes, brightens and hydrates the skin.
Overall BECCA Cosmetics is a lovely brand worth looking into. The packaging is so sleek and luxe, complete with gold accents. These are definitely my top 4 picks, but of course I haven’t tried every single product, so I’m excited to continue to try more products.
Have you tried much BECCA? What are your thoughts and what would you recommend? I would love to know!

Wow I’m jealous you’ve managed to try so many Becca products! I’ve only ever owned 1 highlighter from them which was a purple limited edition one (can’t remember the exact name, Amethyst something ) and now I own a blush from them called Tiger Lily and it is MY FAVOURITE BLUSH OF ALL TIME. I love it so much!
I would love to try their bronzer though, it looks lush!

Ah I haven’t tried the blush but I really want too, specially if its your favourite! x
This was so interesting, I’ve tried a few products from Becca but not any of the ones you’ve mentioned here, although I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Backlight Priming Filter. Their Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl is a holy grail item for me. x
