Too Faced Natural Face Palette | Review & Swatches

Hey everyone! I hope that you’re all well & have been enjoying some more freedom now our lockdown is easing (if you’re in the UK!). I have been loving spending some more time in the sun & having drinks outside with friends. Today I want to share with you a review of the Too Faced Natural Face Palette. I have had this for a couple of months now so I’m ready to share my thoughts.

OVERVIEW

The Too Faced Natural Face Palette is not a new release, but it is one I have only recently got my hands on. The palette contains 6 different powders. There are 2 highlights, 2 blushes & 2 bronzers. It retails for £35 which is about what I would expect for a high end face palette. I think if the quality is there, £35 is not bad for 6 different pans (of a good size too).

Too Faced say this palette includes velvety-soft formulas & multi-dimensional shades that will take your natural beauty up a notch. The powders are infused with coconut butter for creamy comfortable wear. They say that these powders have a buildable pay off for a customised natural glow.

Both of the highlighting shades (starlight & satin sheets) are shimmers.
One blush is matte (pink sand) whilst the other is satin (pink wink).
One bronzer is satin (sunny honey) whilst the other is shimmer (tropic like it’s hot).

Too Faced say the Natural Face Palette will work with all skin tones.

The packaging is absolutely stunning. The palette itself is very sturdy and quite heavy. I don’t mind it being slightly bulky since it contains highlight, blush & bronzer. The gold accents are really pretty and something I would definitely have on display. There is a good size mirror inside the palette. This is something I would take travelling with me, so I am glad to have a good mirror in there.
The palette comes in a gold box and a sleeve with the same pink with lace patterns design as on the palette.

REVIEW

In a face palette such as this, I never seem to use every single shade. However I reach for all of these shades and they work for me, with the exception of one, Tropic like it’s hot.

The highlight shades in this Too Faced Natural Face Palette are perfect as they are buildable. You can achieve a more subtle glow, or you can add more to intensify the look. I love this as it depends on the day what kind of highlight I am wanting, so it’s great that this is really versatile. The powders are smooth and don’t emphasise texture.

The matte blush, pink sand, can be a little powdery looking on the skin if you add too much. It is very pigmented so you need to apply a little and build up slowly. Once you have applied, it is a little hard to blend and diffuse out. Having said that, pink sand is a gorgeous shade and I use it more than the other brighter blush. I love the satin finish of pink wink, but it is a bright pink which I don’t use quite as much.

Sunny Honey is one of the nicest bronzer shades I have used from Too Faced. I love the satin finish that looks skin like, smooth and not too flat like a matte bronzer can appear. The shade is a perfect one for me – warm but not overly warm.

Tropic like it’s hot is the only shade I don’t use. It is a shimmer bronzer which is immediately something I don’t gravitate towards. It feels a bit too shimmery to use as a bronzer. The undertone is also quite red making it a bit too dark for me. On a deeper skin tone I think this could look lovely, but for me I think I could only really use this on my eyes, which I haven’t done yet, but I will try out!

Overall I think this Too Faced Natural Face Palette is a super handy palette to have. Having highlight, blush & bronzer in one palette is ideal. If you are someone with a smaller makeup collection and you’re looking to extend it, I really recommend this as it is one product instead of three and takes up less room. I will definitely take this travelling with me – it’s ideal!

SWATCHES

To sum up, I truly think the Too Faced Natural Face Palette is worth the purchase if you are looking to introduce a few new products to your collection! Too Faced is one of my favourite brands and the quality here is amazing as usual.

What a gorgeous palette! Although that pink terrifies me a little. I’ve still not tried anything from Too Faced. Need to change that! Thanks for posting.
