June/July Favourites 2021

Hey everyone, it’s been a few months since I posted a favourites here on my blog right?! I’ve skipped over May, and combined June & July into one. This hiatus from favourites wasn’t really intentional, but I just hadn’t been loving anything ‘new’, and was kind of just using the same stuff from the previous months, so I decided there was really no point in writing up a new favourites. However, I feel that now is a good time to talk about some of the products I’ve been loving. So I hope you enjoy this one!

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (£37)
I have definitely spoke about this foundation in a previous favourites post, but I really wanted to include it here as it has fast become one of my favourite foundations to wear when I am doing a full glam makeup. This looks so super smooth of the skin, gives me the coverage I want, whilst also looking so natural and skin like. It really gives me everything I want in a foundation! I know this is a very hyped foundation but trust me it is 100% worth the hype!

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme £22
Every time I wear makeup I use this gloss! I always pop it on before applying any other lip products to plump the lips a little, and I often pop it on over other lipsticks etc. I used to dislike this one, because it kind of is uncomfortable for a minute or two after applying, so if you’re really sensitive maybe stay away, however I’ve gotten use to it and it really does help to plump the lips way more than any other lip plumper I’ve used before. I always carry one around in my bag, and I have lots of mini versions of this in my makeup collection too which are ideal!

Too Faced Teddy Bare Bare It All Eyeshadow Palette (£32)
I very recently wrote a whole review on this one here on my blog, so you can check that one out if you’d like more details, but I still wanted to include this palette in my favourites as I’ve been reaching for it a lot, and I love it! This gives me all the pretty neutrals I need for every day looks, as well as options to glam it up for evenings. The quality is of course amazing, and it is a great addition to my makeup! If you’ve been thinking about trying this one, I seriously recommend.

Benefit Cookie Highlighter (£27.50)
Hands down this is the best highlighter in my entire collection. I LOVE how this looks on the skin, and can imagine it working so well for many skin tones. This is a pink pearly champagne which gives your skin that true glow from within which is both intense and natural. It doesn’t look glittery or like a stripe on the skin, instead is melts in and meshes so nicely. Definitely have a look at this one if you get chance in store.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer Mini (£15)
Hoola Bronzer is probably one of the products Benefit is most well-known and popular for. It truly is a gorgeous bronzer which gives me just the right amount of bronze. It looks so smooth and creamy and never goes patchy. I only have the mini version but it has lasted me so long, and I would definitely pick up the full size when this one runs out. If you’re looking for a good every day bronzer that you can trust, I’d recommend this one.

Barry M Colour Correcting Kit
I’m having a mini meltdown that I can’t find this little kit anywhere online to purchase… so maybe it is discontinued… but I still want to mention it incase you can find it anywhere! I have pretty dark under eyes so I always colour correct using orange correctors. I love my Smashbox one, but it is so pricey so I decided to try this affordable drugstore one since my Mum had offered to give it to me. I really like this, specially for the price! I only used the orange shades, but they work to camouflage the darkness. The texture is ideal as it is super thin and undetectable. If you do see this anywhere, I recommend picking it up.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense (£25 for 30ml)
I have been using lots of Clinique skincare for a while now, and the original moisture surge is really one of the best moisturiser in my opinion. I got this intense version on a training session in my old job and I hadn’t got round to using it yet. I have cracked it open now and I am absolutely loving this thicker cream based moisturiser as a night cream. It leaves the skin very hydrated, slippy and a bit wet looking. If you have oily skin, I don’t think you’d enjoy this, but as someone with normal-dry skin I am obsessed! Like I mentioned, I use it more as a night cream as it is a bit heavy for every day, specially during these hotter months, but during Winter when my skin is drier I will probably love it day to day too!

That’s all for my current June/July favourites. Have you tried any of these? What do you think? Please let me know in the comments below.

Jazmin xx
