NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation | Review

Hey everyone, how are you all? I am so happy to see Autumn, I am so excited for Halloween, Bonfire Night & Christmas! However, I am actually heading on my first abroad holiday in less than two weeks, to Majorca, and I cannot wait to have a much needed break.
Today I want to share a review with you guys on a foundation I’ve been using quite a lot lately; and that is the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear. I did feature this in my June/July Favourites 2021 so you already know I am obsessed with this one, but I wanted to share my thoughts a bit more in depth. So if you’re interested to hear more, just keep reading.

OVERVIEW
At £37, the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation is pretty pricey. However from a brand such as NARS that is to be expected.

The packaging is classic and beautiful – a glass bottle with a soft matte lid & pump. It also comes in a black box.

NARS describe the Natural Radiant foundation as a ‘uniquely lightweight foundation that provides 16 hours of fade-resistant wear with full powered radiance.’ They say that this provides high coverage which is also super natural and breathable. The formula is infused with raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to smooth and improve the look of skin instantly, and over time. NARS say that this foundation ‘looks better with each hour’.

This foundation comes in 33 different shades – I have mine in the shade Light 2 Mont Blanc.

REVIEW
As I have mentioned, I am obsessed with this NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation. It has fast become one of my favourite foundations and I reach for it often when I want a natural but somewhat dewy/radiant look!

The formula of this is pretty thin and slightly runny – when I first saw this I was worried, as I often like thicker formulas more than thin ones. However I think this thin formula really helps this foundation feel lightweight on the skin.

Despite this lightweight feel, the Natural Radiant foundation provides great full coverage. It covers everything on my skin! I like to apply this with a brush to keep that coverage as full as possible, as I do think a sponge soaks this foundation up quite a lot since it has a thinner formula.

I love the way this foundation smooths the skin out making it look quite airbrushed – perhaps this is due to the fruit extracts within the formula. It really helps camouflage the pores.

The NARS Natural Radiant foundation lasts really well on the skin. If you have particularly oily skin, you may find it goes a little too dewy (though I don’t feel it is greasy), however I personally love how radiant and healthy this looks on my skin, specially after it has been on my skin for a few hours! Even though this foundation is definitely radiant and becomes more radiant through the day, it hasn’t ever broken up on me or moved around, it has remained looking amazing in my opinion!

Overall I absolutely love this foundation and it is one I can trust to look good on my skin all day! If you love the radiant look, I definitely recommend giving this a go.

Have you tried the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Thanks for reading!

I have used the Nars All Day Luminous Foundation in the shade Fiji for a couple of years. I loved the coverage and the shade was spot on. A couple of months ago I ordered another bottle of the above foundation and was sent the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in the shade Fiji as the foundation I had been wearing has been discontinued. The new foundation may say Fiji on it but the two foundations are totally different shades. The new foundation is very yellow. My skin is neutral. I tried wearing it for a week and gave up. My experience with this new foundation was a disaster!

Maybe you would like a different shade from the range more! It’s so annoying when brands use the same names for other lines if the shade isn’t the same. xx
