Hey everyone! I’ve been so absent lately here on my blog, but I have just been SO busy. I work a lot during the week, and my weekends have been really busy at the moment too! However, I am going to share with you my current weekend makeup routine today; I was going to call this my everyday makeup routine, but I definitely don’t do this every day for work… If you want to see what products I used to create this look just keep reading!
EYES
As I have done for the longestttt time, I used the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) as a base on my eyes to hide any darkness and veins. Once I blended this out I went straight into the Too Faced Teddy Bare Palette (£32). I use this palette alllll the time. It’s definitely my most used palette and has been for a while now. I used the cream shade ‘bare it all’ to set the concealer on my lid. Then I added some of the light brown shade ‘the snuggle is real’ to the crease to act as a transition shade. I then took a smaller brush and deepened the crease and the outer corner using the darker brown toned shades ‘mama bear’ and ‘fuzzy wuzzy’. That was the completed look with the palette! I tend to keep it very simple at the moment. Next I curled my lashes and used the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (£24). I used the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner (£16) to create a small wing. Once the mascara and liner had dried I used my current favourite lashes, Tatti Lashes in style TL17 (£7.95)
For my eyebrows I OF-COURSE I used the Benefit Brow Zings palette in shade 5 (£27).
BASE
Recently I’ve started using the Too Faced Hangover Primer (£29) again, and I’ve fallen back in love with it! When I used up my last tube I had a break to use some other primers before opening my new tube. I’m so glad I’ve finally cracked it open because I’m loving how smooth and soft it makes my skin. For foundation I opted for the NARS Radiant Longwear (£37) – this is my absolute favourite at the moment, you can read my full review here if you’re interested! I then added the shade Honey of the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer (£25) to contour. I love using this as it looks so natural but super contoured at the same time! Under my eyes I used the orange shade from the Barry M Colour Correcting Kit (which I think I has been discontinued), and the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector (which *thankfully* Smashbox are going to be re-releasing soon as a collaboration with Becca). My under eyes are so dark, so I need all the extra help to camouflage and highlight! I then used the Too Faced Born This Way concealer again, but in the shade Snow to conceal under my eyes, down my nose and a little on my chin. I set my whole face with the Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder (£24) (I forgot to photograph this one – oops!)
I used Benefit Hoola Bronzer (£27.50) to add some more definition to my face – this is such a gorgeous bronzer. I only have the mini version but I will definitely purchase the full size eventually. I then added some of the NARS orgasm blush (£26). At first I wasn’t a huge fan of this blush but now I am obsessed. It adds a little glow and the shade is so pretty. To highlight I used the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in the shade Rose Gold (£36). I used a mix of all the shades as that’s my favourite way to use this palette!
LIPS
What other combo could I use than this one? I swear this is all I use at the moment. I first used the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme (£22) to plump up and prepare my lips. Once I felt my lips had plumped up, I removed this gloss! I used the Mac Boldly Bare lip liner and Velvet Teddy lipstick duo (£33.50)! This is such a flattering shade. I find that it can look slightly different on different people, but on me it’s quite pink with some brown tones. I then added some of the Fenty Gloss Bomb in the shade Fussy (£17). This brings out the pink tones more and makes my lips look juicer and plumper!
To complete the look and mesh everything together, I used the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist (£16)!
& that’s the whole makeup look! I have loved pretty much all of these products for a long time now, they’re definitely firm favourites. If anyone has any recommendations of new makeup, please do let me know as I’m wanting to try a few new things soon. I’ve not done a haul in a while!
Thanks so much for reading,
