Hey everyone!
I realised that I haven’t posted a current makeup routine in a while, and I wanted to update it! I’ve been wearing this look practically every day lately, it’s so easy and looks simple & pretty in my opinion. If you want to find out what I used to create this look, then just keep reading..
Step one – Base: I used the L’oreal Infallible primer (£8.99) as a base before going in with a mixture Maybelline Superstay foundation (£9.99) and Dior Forever foundation (£31.50). I blended this out with my favourite foundation brush – the Real Techniques buffer brush.
Step two – Eyes: As always, I first did my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade (£19). For this, I used a Morphe small angled brush. I then added Rimmel Brow This Way (£4.49). Next I applied Collection Lasting Perfection (£4.19) onto my eye lid to act as a base for my eyeshadow. Next I took my Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette (£18). On a Morphe s27 brush I applied the cream shade, ‘Bitter Start’, all over my lid. Then on the same brush I took the paler brown shade, ‘Substitute For Love’, and applied it into my crease. I did this quite roughly. Next I used the warm brown shade, ‘Freshly Toasted’, and applied this more precisely into the crease. Next I took a Morphe s12 brush and applied the chocolate brown shade, ‘Beans Are White’, onto the outer corner of my eye. I then applied the pale lilac toned shimmer shade, ‘Sweeter End’, onto my eye lid using my finger. Once I was happy with all of this I added mascara – I used a mixture of Maybelline Lash Sensational (£8.99), and Rimmel Wow Wings (£6.99).
Step three – Face: I applied the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) under my eyes, on the centre of my forehead, down my nose and on my chin. I blended this out with the Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush. I set my entire face with the Max Factor Creme Puff Powder (£6.99) on a Morphe fluffy brush. Next I took the Zoeva Contour Spectrum palette (£15) and took the cooler shade on a Morphe s13 brush and carved out my cheek bones. I then used the warmer shade on the same brush and applied this as a bronzer, on my forehead, nose and cheeks. Then I took a Real Techniques contour brush and applied the Rimmel Lasting Finish blush in the shade Santa Rose (£3.99). I have been adding quite a lot of blusher lately! Then I used the Revolution x Sophdoesnails highlighter palette (£8) with a Morphe s26 brush. I used the peachy colour on the high points of my face. Finally I applied Primark Lipstick in the shade Cookies and Cream, with some Mac Honeylove (£17.50) on top.
And that’s the complete look!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know your thoughts below.
