So, I’m probably a few days late with this post, but I still wanted to share my favourites from the month of August. There’s a couple of things a little bit different on my favourites this time, (fake tan… what?!), so without waffling on too much, let’s get into it.
Bare Minerals Moxie Shimmer Lip Gloss – Socialite
I’ve had this gloss for a while in my collection without paying it much attention, however lately I have been appreciating it much more. I love how plump and healthy it makes my lips look. The shimmer in it is a nice element, but doesn’t look glittery or TOO shimmery on the lips which I really like. The shade looks super natural, just adding a hint of pink. This has been a staple in my handbag recently, and I would definitely recommend!
New Look Gold Hoop Earrings
I don’t often include jewellery or fashion items on my monthly favourites, but I have been wearing these hoops from New Look pretty much every time I’ve been going out! They’re really affordable and look stunning, win win! They’re a little thicker than my other hoops which I really like as they stand out more.
Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shampoo & Conditioner
I had this shampoo & conditioner combo last year sometime and I really loved it. So I decided to pick it up again to see if it is as good as I remember, and it is! I love how light, clean and fresh this makes my hair feel – and the scent is lovely too.
St Moriz Tanning Mousse – Medium
You may or may not know that I literally never fake tan… until now! I’ve always found it too much effort and I didn’t think I would be very good at it. However, I thought why not give it a go, and now I love it. I really enjoyed using this one as it is super easy to apply, and even though I am a beginner, it hasn’t gone patchy, which is definitely a good sign.
The Body Shop Black Kohl Eyeliner
I wasn’t 100% sure whether or not to include this in my favourites post, as I haven’t used it LOADS of times in the month. But that’s just because I don’t really reach for kohl liner too much. However, I have done so more often than usual this month, and this TBS one is really great. It’s pigmented, soft enough so that it isn’t scratchy, and doesn’t smudge easily. These are all the things I am looking for in a black kohl liner, so if you do want one, give this one a go!
That’s all for this post. Have you tried any of these? Let me know any thoughts in the comments below!
