Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar 2018 | Last 12 Days

Hey everyone,

First of all, Merry Christmas Eve!!! & I hope you all have a lovely Christmas this year and get yourself ready to enter 2019 happy. Today I want to share what I got during the last 12 days of my Amazon Beauty Calendar. In my last post I shared all the amazing things from the first 12 days – so I thought I’d better make this follow up post!

Amazon Calendar 4

Day 13: Percy & Reed Instant Volumising Spray
I was super happy to get this in the calendar as I have quite fine hair which often looks a little flat, so a volumising spray is ideal for me! I have heard a little bit about this brand before, but I haven’t tried any of their products, so I am intrigued to see what I think.

Day 14: Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy Cream
This is a brand I haven’t heard of before, but I really enjoy using good hand creams. In all honesty, I have quite a few different hand creams lined up to be used (I don’t know how I seem to accumulate so many of them), so it may be a while before I use this one, but I’m happy to have received it.

Day 15: Rituals Foaming Shower Gel
This one is going to get used up super quick… Rituals is a great brand and we seem to go through shower gels so fast in this house. I haven’t used many foaming gels in the past as I usually go for standard gels or creams, so it is cool to have something a bit different.

Day 16: Baxter of California Shave Tonic
This was definitely an interesting product to get in the calendar! I don’t tend to use things like this myself, I just shave with a thick moisturising gel, so I’ve gave this one to my boyfriend who I am sure will use it up!

Day 17: Nivea Lip Balm Pearly Shine
I was a bit ridiculously excited to get this lip balm… this is my favourite balm to have by my bed at night (I always wake up with dry lips). I prefer these stick balms rather than pots as they’re just easier to grab! So it was nice to get this in my calendar to save me buying it.

Day 18: Rimmel Ink Me Stamp
This was something cool to get as I haven’t tried anything like this really. It looks like an eyeliner, but is actually a little heart shaped black stamp. I think this will come in handy for makeup looks, or festival season etc!

Day 19: Simple Moisture Sheet Mask
Like most other people, I love sheet masks! Simple is a brand I haven’t used in a while after I had a reaction to something by them a year or so ago. So I’m slightly nervous to try this out, but I think I’ll give it a go when Christmas has passed.

Day 20: L’oreal Balmain Lipstick in the shade ‘Domination’
I was really pleased to get this one as L’oreal lipsticks are always great! This one is a classic red which you really can’t go wrong with around Christmas time. I’ll probably wear this on Christmas day.

Day 21: Patisserie de Bain Sugared Violet Hand Cream
Another hand cream!? Yes, but this one smells like sugared violets, so that’s pretty good! I’ve been and heard a bit about this brand, and I think I may have used a shower gel from them a bit ago.

Day 22: Garnier Micellar Water
Everyone uses micellar water right now, right? I usually use the Nivea one, I don’t know why really, but I always pick that one up! However this is a perfect travel size so I’ll save it for the next time I’m going away.

Day 23: Baylis & Harding Hand Gel
I’ve been meaning to pick one of these hand sanitisers up to sick in my bag as they come in handy in public bathrooms etc, however I just kept forgetting! So I’m pleased to have this and it has gone straight into my bag. Baylis & Harding is a really good brand too, who always come out with the best sets!

Day 24: Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
I’ve been dying to give Elemis products a go lately as I hear so much stuff about them. So I’m really excited to be able to give this cream a try! Although I’m only 21, so don’t particularly NEED anti-ageing cream, there is nothing wrong with being proactive, right?

& that’s the end of this post, and the end of my calendar! I think this beauty calendar has been VERY impressive – I didn’t get anything at all that I am disappointed with and the sizes are all pretty generous too. Two hand creams is potentially a little excessive, but I can always give one to a friend, so it is no problem for me!

What do you think about this calendar? What beauty calendars have you tried? Let me know below!

Thanks so much for stopping by & once again, Merry Christmas.

Jazmin xx

Yes it is! It’s super handy to have. I haven’t tried the Garnier one, but I suppose it can’t be TOO different to the Nivea one x
